I want to express gratitude to the whole staff of the hotel for my vocation in London. I thank for the daily room cleaning and tasty breakfast every day. Most of all I thank the administrator Odysseas for special attention to city guests and his immediate help in solving all problems!!!

This is the 3rd year in a row I’ve stayed here and it is perfectly located especially for Paddington Station. Staff are very friendly and this year I was delayed due to severe weather at home and they kindly held my room for me. It’s small but cosy, but I am only there at night so for me it’s perfect, I had s britrail Pass to travel all over England and this hotel was my home base for 3 weeks. I look forward to returning next year.

My wife and I had a very comfortable stay at the Shakespeare. Check-in was smooth and Constantinos was very helpful and assigned us a room on the first floor (so not too many stairs) and a balcony, which we had requested if it were possible.The room was small but it was clean, it looked recently painted and decorated, and we had a lovely view of Norfolk Square. Bathroom was also on the small side but it was manageable, and the shower was hot and had good water pressure. Nice, big flat-screen TV and comfortable beds. Even though we faced the street it was quiet at night and sleeping was no problem. We were a little disappointed that the waffle-maker was not working during the two breakfasts we had, because we had read about how guests had complimented the fresh waffles. Location was ideal, just 3 or 4 minute's walk to Paddington rail/underground stations, shops,and pubs. On our last day, Constantinos held our luggage so we could take a short walk to the Little Venice area, which was very scenic. I would stay here again.

Guter Ausgangspunkt für die Erkundung von London City. Perfekt gelegen am Knotenpunkt Paddington Station. Die Zimmer sind klein, aber funktional. Das Frühstück ist ausreichend. Der Frühstücksraum etwas beengt. Alles war sehr sauber und die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich

Found the hotel to be very good, staff were very friendly and helpful. Was is basic but very clean and comfortable, family room had plenty of space. (2 adults, 2 kids, 1 baby) breakfast was good. Location excellent for touring around london sights.

I stayed at the Shakespeare, and was impressed with my stay. The staff were friendly, the room itself was pristine, the bed was very comfy, and the shower was incredibly good. The location, a Stones throw away from Paddington station, is ideal. Overall, I would fully reccommend this hotel to everyone. I will go back there again.

My family of four stayed here August 7th for one night. This was not my 1st stay here. I have stayed numerous times. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is delicious. You are very close to Paddington Station. Highly recommend.

Ottima scelta, albergo in posizione ottimale x la vicinanza alla metro di Paddington da lì si va ovunque, albergo pulito, colazione buona, servizio molto buono. Zono servita da ristoranti, pub, supermercati.... E soprattutto zona tranquilla

Nos quedamos 5 noches y la estadía fue super buena. Un chico muy amable nos ayudo a subir las valijas, nos toco en el primer piso (por suerte no era tanto ya que no hay ascensores). Las comodidades muy bien, mini heladera, secador de pelo, pava eléctrica y el servicio de habitación impecable. Aunque la habitación es pequeña entramos 2 cómodas (y con 2 valijas gigantes!!). Baño reducido pero útil, agua caliente siempre. El desayuno muy bien.

Ældre hotel med britisk charme. God pris og placering lige ved Paddington station, hvor mange metrolinjer krydser. Fin og simpel morgenmadsbuffet. Støj fra gade og metro, men alt i alt tilfredsstillende. Venligt personlige som var behjælpelige med print og bagageopbevaring. Vi vil bo her igen, når vi kommer til London næste gang.
